The foundation has been operating under its name since June 2024 and was founded by three Polish women who were brought together by their love of Africa and the need to help the Kenyan community.

One of the founders and funders is Anna Krzewniak, a retired, teacher who has been working to help
in the area for 8 years, and 3 years ago moved permanently to Malindi, a Kenyan town located on the coast.
She was joined by Agnieszka Ośko- Podstawka and Agata Sebastianiuk. With the establishment of the Moyo Mzuri Foundation, this assistance is growing in scale.
