This is a project, initiated even before the Moyo Mzuri Foundation was established. In 2024, A Box That Rocks was launched for the third time, and it was the first year that the campaign was organized under the Foundation’s auspices.
It was also a year of record contributions, which made it possible to purchase food products for as many as 300 families.
The success of A Box That Rocks would not have been so spectacular had it not been for the support of individuals, school and childcare centers, as well as entrepreneurs and companies that organize annual fairs, canned food collections and other activities, thus donating the funds raised to the Foundation.
For several hundred families, the program means Christmas without hunger. Although it is hard for us to imagine, a meal is for many Kenyans the most beautiful Christmas gift.
Children there do not dream of the latest phones and colorful toys from TV commercials. They are happy, knowing that no one in their family will go to sleep hungry.
